Meet your wine guru

Anton P Nel

Dr Anton Nel obtained his PhD from the Stellenbosch University where his research topic was on the pinking phenomena of Sauvignon blanc wines. He started his career in the wine industry as a harvest assistant in 1990 and worked himself up to a full winemaker at Kango Wine Cellar. He then decided to further his career academically with a BScAgric (Enology and Viticulture) which he obtain in 2007, a MScAgric (Enology) in 2010 with his topic on the extraction of anthocyanins and tannins form red grape varieties.
